Toilet.

Probably one of the Most Important parts of the cafe (if not the most important) is a Toilet. You can judge how good a cafe is By looking exactly how the toilet is and how it is maintained.

Normally, Especially in India, I’ve seen a toilet is often the most neglected part of the cafe.

And if someone (the owner in this case) has put in effort to keep their Toilet clean, well stocked with basic amenities and essentials, then other parts of the cafe would be definitely be in a good or better condition.

Its not even about how fancy your cafe toilet is , point is it needs to be clean, hygienic and should have basic supplies, like paper/towel, sanitizer, sanitary pads/tampons, dustbin that is it.

How often it has been a case that you do select a place (even on highways) based on how the cafe/place looks from outside, hoping the toilets will be clean. I have known people who go to a particular cafe, because the cafe is clean, and the products are decent.

in fact, I have never been disappointed with food or coffee, ambience or service if the toilet has been clean. But i have definitely had good everything, but not so clean toilets.

So yes if you are an owner here, and have had the ability to build a cafe (please don’t make it fancy, but make sure its clean, tidy and approachable).

A good Toilet is a sign of good cafe/people/company.

sharing a few images of washrooms (not too fancy, not too big )but some that i stumbled upon in recent pasts.
